Rango Official Preview

Rango is an upcoming film starring Johhny Depp as a pet lizard that is accidentally released into the desert. The animation looks incredible- (it was done by ILM) Looks like there will be lots of other reptiles and creatures in the film. It opens in March 2011.

Baby Water Snake

This is a water snake i had found in my creek. I almost stepped on him! Actually, after comparing this one to pictures online, I’m begining to think this may be a mole kingsnake. I have found mole kingsnakes in my yard before, but they were colored differently than this one.

Here is a neat picture of a Gila Monster and it’s skull that I took on a field trip. The Gila Monster is one of only two poisonous lizards in the world.
